Although in his mind his strength is in the sciences, we have happily had him tutor 4 Unit English, Ancient History, Biology, Chemistry and Drama. Ultimately if a tutor loves a subject it comes out in their teaching and the students are all the better for it.In 2019 Sam mustered up the courage to enter a boxing ring and take on an opponent that was far more experienced than he was at the time. Incredibly Sam walked away, on both his legs unaided. We will strike that up as a win and never talk of it again. He has also hiked Kilimanjaro, has scuba dived with sharks and he paints miniatures in his down time. You will be hard pressed to find a more genuine and caring person who is happy to impart his knowledge to children and young adults. He also likes Terry Pratchett the Author, we strike that up as another win. Why People Choose Us
We’ve done this for a while, but here is why we think we stand out.
Help Organise & Prepare
We can help students build study plans, help organise exam notes, work through practice exams and many other activities to help get organised and prepared to excel at school. Our tutors are uniquely positioned to provide this advice as they use these methods to achieve excellence with their own results.
We Cement the Basics
Ensuring our students are comfortable with the basics of each subject is a first priority. Students are encouraged to regularly revise and use these basic skills through exercises in class and at home.
We Build Confidence
The best thing we can do for our students is build their confidence that they can achieve the results they want. Initially we set short term goals for an exam or assessment and work with students to improve results, demonstrating that good results are attainable with the right motivation. As the tutor-student relationship develops, confidence and motivation will continue to build.
